Obituary of Anne E. Engvaldsen

Anne E. Engvaldsen, age 72, of Rowland died Thursday, February 3, 2005 at Mercy Hospital in Scranton.
Mrs. Engvaldsen was born August 21, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Carl and the late Olga (Knudsen) Christianson.
She retired as postmaster from the Rowland Post Office in 1998.
Mrs. Engvaldsen was formerly employed by Shell Oil in NY. She was active in several church groups over the years. She was a member Central Fire Dept. Auxillary and Brent Balchen Lodge, Sons of Norway in Rowland.
She is survived by one son: Daniel J. Engvaldsen of Rowland, PA, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005 from 2 to 5 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Monday Feb. 7, 2005 at 10:00 at Bethel Lutheran Church, Church Road, Rowland, PA with Rev. Norm Beighley, Pastor officiating.
Burial will be in Rowland Cemetery, Rowland.
