Obituary of Nicholas J. Duffy

Nicholas J. Duffy, age 77, of Greeley died Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center, Honesdale.
Mr. Duffy was born December 30, 1927 in Bronx, NY and was the son of the late Nicholas and the late Emily (Cooke) Duffy.
He served in the Army from 1951 to 1953 during the Korean war .
He retired as a butcher for Morgan David Packing House In Bronx, NY.
Mr. Duffy was a member of Knights of Columbus-Brooklyn, NY
He is survived by five sisters: Theresa Belwin of Honesdale, PA, Aileen Passanisi of NY; Emily Helveston of NJ; Kathleen Bocznienicz of Dalton, PA and Ann Jane Shuncko of NY. He was predeceased by a brother, Albert and 2 sisters, Mary Kilbridge and Deanna Duffy.
Calling hours will be Sunday Feb. 20, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at TEETERS' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday Feb. 21, 2005 at 10:00AM at St Ann's Roman Catholic Church by Rev. Thomas J. Petro, Pastor.
Burial will be in St Ann's Cemetery, Shohola Twp on Monday.
