I have so many memories of Joel, some still make me smiles at the though of them. He always wanted Cream when he came to Grandma's house. He was sure to eat every thing on his plate to get the "cream. He loved my dog Robbie and wanted to play with him, feed him and give him doggie cookies which was great in Robbie's eyes. Robbie will miss Joel too, he was a good buddy to him. I will always remember Joel dancing at church when Dan would be playing, he just couldn't sit there and let all that good music pass by. I know he must be dancing before the Lord now. God's word says"I go to prepare a place for you, that where I am you may be also" I think God had a special place for Joel all ready for when he called him home. See you when I get home Joel. Although I haven't been in touch with you in many years, I fondly remember the times when I used to visit your home. I still have the pictures of Joel and the kids when he was only 2 years old. I was very saddend to hear of the passing of Joel. He was very special. When I first met Joel he brightened my day. Autumn keep your chin up. He is with God now but always remeber your special memories of Joel. When I saw you on last friday night, I had a chance to ask you how Joel was and you said he was very sick this winter, Not expecting this news from my best friend. I had tears in my eyes but seeeing the adjacent picture of your brother smiling back at me lifted my heart and told me that he is with God. I want to light this candle for Joel Autumn and your family and friends who are grieving, so that the candle in Joel's memory glows eternally. Love, Lisa

Dear Donna, Dan, Autumn, Gabrielle and family, Our prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Joel was such an awesome individual.We enjoyed the time we got to spend with him. How he loved to play his games and look at toys when we went shopping. He will be sadly missed by so many people. I remember JoJo as a very happy boy. Although I never spent a lot of time with him, I would see him in the classroom or taking a walk in the North Primary school when he was in Mrs. Thomas' class and when our Special Ed Office was in the same building. He always had a big smile for me. I remember his eyes shining with happiness. Mariruth Borden is my good friend, and I know a good friend of yours. She is on a mission trip in China right now. I did email her about Joel. I know she will be very saddened. When she responds, I will post her email here. We are SURE that Joel is with his heavenly Father in a brand new body and praising the Lord. Thank you for the opportunity to know Joel and his happiness.
