Rich, hard to believe two months have already passed since you left us on Earth. I miss seeing you on my visits to FLF, truly the highlight of my trips. You, a man of simple needs that always gave willingly and helped many including myself. With all the bird houses and flags you made, think you gave most of them away, so I made one for you while you were in the hospital. It was not finished until our last meeting. Hope you can see it. Watch over us as I am sure you will. A friend, Ken.

I have been told you have touched the hearts of many
over the years, I only got to know you over the past two years and those were only measured in hours at the firehouse. However i will say that i enjoyed your company and smart wits, and that innocent smile you gave to clear youself of any possible pranks you pulled.Your short time as a friend will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Be at peace Richard

dear joyce and families, there are just not any words that can help all of you right now . however we just wanted you to know how much richie meant to us. when i think of him i have to smile because he could always make me laugh. he was one of the best bosses i ever had i so enjoyed working with him at the beach house. bingo was always more fun to work or play when he was there. even though we could never convence him to be a caller. richie always treated everyone the same men or women alike we were all at some time blessed by his quick witt or fast sense of humor. He will be missed alot by my family and by our community It was a pleasure and honor to call him a friend we are here to help any time we can just call. love peggy and family
