Dear Heart, I did not forget your first Anniversary in heaven. Even though no candle was lit, there were candles and flowers on the altar in your name. I will always miss you answering the phone at 7pm every night. We love you and miss you very much. Vic & I are taking good care of Mom. "Guide me, Lead me, Show me the way"--- That was your special prayer three times a day! HE answered your prayer! I pray that you hear my prayer to HIM, to "Guide me, Lead me, Show me the way." That in your special place with HIM, you can help to mend my broken heart. Help me to find peace, dear heart. That you will one day become a beautiful memory and help me to live with that sweet memory and that in some way you will let me know that I did the right thing. The one wish that was in our prayers was that we will one day all be together again with Mom & Dad Connelly,Grandma & Grandpa Kintch, Morris,Marty,Michael,Rocky,Sal,John,Johhny,Rosemary, Mom & Pop. Trying to open a gift on Christmas Eve that you'd wrapped was near impossible but I always looked forward to it- I'll miss trying to wipe off all the glue. And I'll miss all the corny jokes you used to tell that turned out to be funny anyway. I'll miss calling you once a week and hearing you say first thing "How's my favorite girl?" And staying with you over Easter and dying the eggs and watching Nanny go nuts trying to save every last bit of the shell. You'll always havea place in my heart Pop-pop, I love you.
