To the Family and Friends of Ernest Carl Becker; What a blessing we have had bestowed upon us with the brief encounter and the companionship of simply meeting this extrodinary man. He exemplified the meaning of unconditional compassion and humility. I for one consider myself a better person with the melding of our friendship. Ernie and I were early morning chat friends for the past ten years. Though his body was failing him he had an indominable spirit, He always offered what he could to help his friends; He will be greatly missed by all and especially me, as 5 am will no longer seem the same. Roy aka Leroi 1930

Ernie was a very caring person, he seemed to have a happy side to him was very likable. I know he didnt have much but I remember him sendin $5.00 to a teacher in chat rm for a donation to the handicapped children.That tells u a lot about a person. rest in peace my friend you are missed.

To Ernie's family my prayers and thoughts go out to you at this time. I met Ernie in Health Chat about 1996. He was a great friend to me. We always talked bout my children being in his "neck of the woods"-Shahola PA at summer camp. He said send them by to see him to say "hi". He was a kind,gentle man that had a calming effect on me. Ern, I will miss you along with many many of your chat buddies. I will have great online memories since I never got to meet you in person. I think your friends and family will see how greatly loved you were. I "met" Ernie online in the Health Chat Room many years ago. He was always a very sweet, nice guy. I was lucky enough to actually meet him in person 5 years ago. A nurse that I had also gotten to meet online went with me and we took Ernie out for dinner. We had a wonderful time with Ern. Unfortunately that lovely woman passed away in Feb.2005. They are probably together telling us all to not worry...they are doing just fine. My sincere condolences to Ernie's family. I hope you all find peace in your memories of time spent with Ernie. ern was a kind caring thoughtfull man. i never got to meet ern in person but got to know him over the internet. ern made me smile he had a gr8 personailty and was a wonderfull chat frind loved by all who knew him if i could off flown over to meet ern then i would of but with me living so far away across the pond in england i never got the chance. i am going to miss you ern and i know every one else you chatted to will miss you as well. thanks for beeing such a good friend to me i will allways love ya

Ernie will be remembered by so many of his internet friends. He was the first person I every spoke to in health chat room over 10 years ago. He phoned me last week. Having a terminal illness of my own we would help each other through the long days. I will always remember my dear friend. He always called my his Lillo and I always will be God Bless you my dear friend.
