The Sanquilly name inevitably evokes a smile and joyful memories of good old times. The Limons, Fritz, and Sanquilly families shared the warmth of many a campfire, singing those old-time favorites. I remember picking huckleberries for scrumptious pies, drinking from the bubbling spring, riding Prunes (the horse), and swimming in the waterhole. It was a peaceful, loving time for all of us. Bev, I share in your sadness for the loss of your brother Bill and send my love and condolences to his children.

Pastor David T. Fritz posted a condolence
Dear family and friends of Billy Sanquilly,
Our hearts goes out to all of you. Especially to his family. We have known Billy and his family since the 1950’s. We had a cabin at the end of their road, before Rt. 84 cut us off. He was always one of my heroes growing up. I always wanted to great hunter like Billy. And of course a great Marine like him also. I personally will never forget how gentle and honest he was. One time, when we were kids, he caught a skunk and he wanted to tame it. But it sprayed us and his mom would not let us in the house until the next day. I’m sure there are hundreds of stories like that about Billy. Please share the “Billy stories”. They will help all of us in the grieving period we are all going through.
GOD Bless & All Our Love,
Pastor David T. Fritz

Bill will be missed by family and friends. Last summer he was so nice to my Dad (Richard Pierson) He brought him food, took him places and just came for a visit. They had lived next to each other for many years. Just knowing that God took Bill in the woods, where he was happy, gives us all a feeling of peace. My prayers go to his children and family.
