Obituary of William Nicholas Sanquilly

William Nicholas Sanquilly, age 61, of Hawley died Sunday, January 28, 2007, in Blooming Grove, PA.
Born April 17, 1945, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Edna (Hatton) Sanquilly.
Pike County District Justice since 1987, he had also served as a Staff Sergeant in the Marine Corps.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman and clay target shooter, and he also liked to cook.
He was a past director of Lake Wallenpaupack Association and Republican Party Committeeman. He was also Past Master of F&AM Mosaic Lodge #305, and member Blooming Grove Hunting & Fishing Club and Lords Valley Hunting Club.
He is survived by two sons: William Sanquilly of Kutztown, PA, and Nicholas Sanquilly of Hawley, PA; one sister: Beverly Bogden of Flemington, NJ; and 1 niece and 1 nephew.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Teeters East Chapel. The funeral will be Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Hawley United Methodist Church, 315 Church St., Hawley, with Rev. Martin L. Cox, Jr., Pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Lords Valley Cemtery.
