I thought that maybe a year later the pain would have lessened..it hasn't. I guess that just shows how important you were to me. So many things have happened that I wish you were here for and that I could just talk to you about..I guess I still can but not in the same way I would like to. I really miss you and gma. I feel blessed to have had a lot of time with you both but it would have never been enough. I love you so much.

my poppop was the only grandfather i had growing up. unfortunately he passed on his jokes and sayings to my father! i never once saw him upset. it was hard to see him in the hospital but it was very reassuring whenever we heard news of him getting better. thanks to my poppop we have an extended family of people from all over. he touched many lives. theres not a day that goes by i don't think of him. i know he's in a better place now with grams. love always, long island beauty <3

My pop-pop was my everything. He was the one who I could call and he would brighten my day no matter how badly it seemed to be going. I wish I could have one more story or one more hug, but it could never be enough. I am glad that his life was renewed when he met Bernice. It was so nice to see him smile and seem more like himself again. I know that it hurts now but it makes me happy to know he is with grandma. I can already see signs that he is smiling down on me so even though I am sad, I know that he is in a better place. He will always hold a special place in my heart.

I prayed for a loving, Christian man to come into my mother's life and my prayers were answered and then some. Thank you for in so many ways being the love of her life. I may not have been your biological daughter, but you certainly made me feel like one. It goes without saying how special you were to my children; they will miss their grandpa. So many areas that had been void in my life, you filled for me. I will forever chersih the blessing you were to me. You were a spirtual role model for all of us within the family and countless others. Not only did you preach the word, you lived it by your faith, trust and love of the Lord. Give Teresa a hug for me and enjoy what you worked your whole life for! Until we meet again....Love you

My memories of Uncle Elwood and Aunt Elsie start in my earliest childhood and are all great memories. I see them at Mom-mom and Pop-pop's house, in Queens, in the Poconos at Cottonwood, in Reading, PA when they visited us there. When I thought I was a hotshot teenager, Uncle Elwood beat me in Ping Pong and humbled me!!! My mind still sees him smiling, I can't picture him any other way. My respect for him will never end. I love him so much and miss him. We will all be in heaven together one day to see his smile.
Love from your nephew Bobby

Elwood you will surely be missed you were a wonderful brother-in-law who was a brother to me. You blessed my life in a lot of ways. But one day we will all be together praising our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and God our Father together. The Orioles have losted their Number 1 fan, but I know you will be watching them from above.
