I was sorry to hear about Clarence. Even though he had a LONG life it is always sad when someone so special leaves us.
If ever anyone wanted to know something about the area, we could always count on Clarence.
I remember the 50th anniversary of CVFD and Clarence called a couple of squares. At that time (I believe he was 96) he admitted he needed to cheat a little and read from note cards. There are so many great memories, too many to put into words. He will definitely be MISSED. He gave us so much joy and memories we will always cherish.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Clarence was a great man who truly followed the motto: eat, drink and be merry! Although this day brings sadness, it is also a true dedication and celebration of the wonderful life he lived and the caring family he shared it with.
We are sorry we couldn't be there at this time. We will lift him and your entire family up in prayers.
Love,
Mike, Kelly and family

It's hard to imagine summers at the lake without Clarence motoring by on his mower. He will be greatly missed. We are sorry to hear of your loss.

I have many fond memories of the square dances at the Cuckoo's Nest, where you were the "caller". This is where the young people in the area learned to square dance under your instructions. Also the many conversations held with you and learning the history of the area. These will be treasured.

DONNIE FRAN AND FAMILIES clarence was such a large part of our community. people were always asking who they could ask questions to about our area. we are honored to have had him be part of our family. we will miss holiday dinners and our daily phone calls inquiring on the date. he would call here at home often thinking it was the store number which always pleased artie to have a chance to talk to him. my memories go way back to when you and fran got married. my girls have a life time of memories which include clarence.just know he made a great impact on many people.all our love we will miss him rest in peace cheers to you THANK YOU FOR ALL THE HISTORY.
