One of the best people I have ever had the privilege of knowing in my life. She treated everyone like a valued person whenever I she saw them. She understood people and was great with kids. I loved her. She will be sorely missed. My sympathies to her son and daughters. Ma...I will be praying for her

Doris,it's me,Su again. Corrine is missing you something awful, just like we knew she would. If you could find the time to visit one of her dreams while you're getting adjusted up there I think it might make a big difference.Let her know you're okay so she won't fret so much. Still missing you, but I won't keep you anymore from getting on with your program. Love again, Su.

I first met Doris when I was 17 and thought that I knew everything. Doris was smart enough to know that I didn't and never let a moment go by without reminding me in some way. While at times we clashed, we developed a mutual respect for each other over the years. Although I hadn't seen her for years, she was often in my thoughts, like when Padre Pio was canonized. All I could think of was how happy she must have been. She had turned me on to the movement to have him canonized long before his beatification. Perhaps it was my initial intrigue with him that led me to Christ as my savior. Yet another thing I have to thank Doris for. Oh, and for having such a wonderful daughter as Corrine, who has been my soulmate pal for 33 years. Thanks for the memories Doris. Your faith and love will live forever in the many lives you reached out to and touched. I'll miss you, by Jingo! Love always, Su.

To Bruce, I was so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. My parents, sister and I were just talking about Sr. Maurice and your mom on Thursday and the roles they played in our catholic education. Your mom had touched alot of people in many ways and will be truly missed. Its not easy losing a mother under any circumstances. I believe she has found a better, more peaceful place. I hope you find comfort in remembering her good and loving way. God bless you and your family in this most sorrowful time... My thoughts are with you, Love your friend, Stacey

I miss you mommy. I keep wanting to call you to tell you about my days. I have taken in so much beauty in the last few days. I have met people who loved you. I have spent time with family. I have breathed in Spring for the first time in so many years and have found and uncanny sense of peace and solice. I know you have gone to your Lord and His Blessed Mother, and still, I can't help but miss you. It will take some time before it finally sinks in that I can't share all of this with you. I know you're with me. I feel you in my heart, and I love you. Always, your -lil' bit-

Dear Aunt Doris,
So many years have passed without contact. Even so, I have good memories of you and spending time with your family. I wish I could have come to pay last respects but distance and prior commitments didn't allow that. I will pray for your children and others to find peace and pray that they know that you are in the good hands of our lord. Love and peace to you for all eternity. Love, Nancy

Hiya Mom!
I got married today! OMG, it was so awesome. It felt as if you were there. I know you loved Melissa because you told us often enough. It was very special time when she and I sat on either side of you and held your hand for days as you prepared to leave us. It took every once of the courage you instilled in me, to sit beside you and to grieve you, day after day. Vince always used to tell me that the single hallmark feature of someone whose resiliency far outweighs the dysfunction from whence they came is their ability to sustain meaningful long term relationships. Well the minster married us on our 17th anniversary. I was attended by Su, who has been my best friend for 42 years. You knew I was strong enough to consistently rise above it all. I know in my heart that this is not what you wanted for the others, but as you used to like to say "that's on them." I miss you terribly and always remain your favorite gift from God, and very special character. No one can ever take that away from us mom. I love you more!
