Obituary of Lillian M Seeley

Lillian M Seeley, age 73, of Hawley died Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at home. Mrs. Seeley was born January 18, 1934 in Hawley, PA and was the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Garrity) Woliski. Prior to retired Mrs. Seeley was employed by the Wallenpaupack Area School District, 24 years of which she was the Secretary to the Board of Education. She was a charter member of the Tafton Fire Dept.; member of B.V.M. Queen of Peace Altar & Rosary Society and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross, she worked actively with the Cancer Relay for Life. Lillian was a loving wife and mother, and a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family meant the world to her, and she gave to them unselfishly. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by her husband: Claude D. Seeley; two daughters: Mary Jo Hunt & husband Phil of Hawley, Susan Seeley-Lee of Tafton, PA; 5 grandsons, Jason Hunt, Jonathan Schock & wife Connie, Alexander Schock & wife Suzana, Devon Schock, James Lee; one granddaughter, Jennifer Schock; 8 Great grandchildren, Justin & Johnathan Quiles, Brianna & Gryphonn Schock, Xander, Xathan & Xaiden Schock; Destiny Schock; three sisters: Joan Savage, Shirley Meling, Pauline Meinzer She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Woliski. Calling hours will be Friday, Nov. 16, from 7 to 9 PM at Teeters East Chapel in Hawley. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 10:00AM at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 319 Chestnut Ave, Hawley. Family & friends are asked to go directly to the church on Saturday. Burial will be in B.V.M. Queen Of Peace Cemetery, Hawley. Memorials may be made to Tafton Fire & Rescue, Tafton, PA 18464
