How I remember my dad, teaching me to fix and build anything and everything, going bowling and supporting me even when I missed a spare.
Dad, I know you are fishing and catching a lot of big fish, watching the Yankee’s win the World Series, finding things to fix or build and most of all taking pleasure in helping others.
I am proud to call you my dad. You may not be here for me to call and talk to anymore, but you will always be present in my heart. You, who showed unconditional, love to me, and others,
Dad, I love you
Sandy

When I think about Grampa...
I picture him smiling - he smiled with his whole face from chin to brow. And his big hands - I've never come across anyone who was so massive yet so gentle.
I remember his practical lessons on everything from fishing to driving:
”I use natural oils from my nose if I ever run out of grease when a fishing rod is stuck” and “hold the steering wheel gently” - don't 'white-knuckle' it.
Most of all, I remember him driving the baby blue Cadillac with the plate saying GRAMPA.
Grandpa was the one bright and steady light that entered a family in need of his strength and kindness, and he will be sorely missed. Love Christa

Grandpa Joe was a gentle Giant. He had hands like fred flintstone and a heart like a teddy bear.
I will always remember his unique sense of humor and the way he spoke his own language playing with words. I never heard anybody have anything bad to say about this awesome man, my grandpa. I love you and I hope you are with us all. I miss you. Love Christian
