To Martha and Family,
I certainly would be remiss if I did not acknowledge that someone from the "old neighborhood" has suffered a loss. My father was George Haas (Haasie) @ Matter's Garage, and so Church Street (& Bishop Ave.) were my hang-outs as a "kid". The old neighborhood should bring back many fond memories for you, too! Eddie & Agnes Pabst's little store, Mang's, Matters, Guinn's (& all those "stuffed" heads) Campfields, Seilers, Hills, and of course Haubers---10 cent ice cream cones and penny candy! I was ctually in your house many times--visited Rose Warg. Your Uncle Bill Blewitt was very good friends with my dad. I remember Flossie well!
So, our paths have actually crossed many times--a long time ago---we just didn't realize it. We were too busy hanging out with our own Hawley friends.
With deep sympathy to you and your family.
