Frederick Goldman, age 66, of Fawn Lake Forest, Hawley, died Monday, December 1, 2008 at home. Born November 13, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Estella (Jaeger) Goldman. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, the former JoAnne Hryszko. . Formerly of Ridgewood, Queens, NY, he was retired in 1994 after 20 years as a sanitation service worker for the NYC Dept. of Sanitation. A resident for 15 years, Mr. Goldman was a member of Monday night card group at Fawn Lake Forest. He also enjoyed hunting and his grandson. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Brian & Kourtney Goldman of Lakeville, PA; a daughter: Christine Goldman and a son: Fred Goldman, both of California; nine sisters: Marion, Ann, Lillian, Dorothy, Patricia, Margaret, Barbara Jean, Mary and Deborah; two brothers: Melvin and Robert; a grandson: Kody Frederick Goldman of Lakeville, PA; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday, Dec. 4, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Friday, Dec. 5, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Theodore Muller, Former Pastor of Visitation of Hawley United Methodist Church, officiating. Cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. Memorials may be made to Huntington's Disease Society of America, 505 8th Ave., Suite 902, New York, NY 10018.
