Aunt Alice was a guiding light and loving presence in the lives of her sisters, nieces and nephews. I have many fond memories of visits with her in Hawley, and of her being a substitute mom to 5-year-old me when her sister was ill. She was always there to help. She will be remembered and missed.

Whenever I got to put Alice to bed at night, I always gave her a kiss on the cheek or forehead and she would say "God bless you." So,for my sweet memories of this very dear Alice, I say to her family, "God bless you."

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. May you feel the presence, grace, and love of the Father, Son, and Spirit as you go through this time of transition. And may Alice know and be received by our Lord to the "place" He has made ready for her. God is good, praise the Lord.

We wish to send our sincere sympathy to the family of Alice Ungerer. Although we were not acquainted with her personally, we appreciate the job she did in raising a son who was our beloved pastor for more than two decades.
