It's hard to believe you've been gone from our lives for so long already. Not a day goes by where I don't think about you and there are many things that I wish I could share with you over the phone, but I just tell myself "he knows". Now if only I could get my Papa Mo hug I'll be happy so we need to find some way to fix that!! Love you!!!

To my friend Craig, You always had a smile for everyone and a very hearty laugh. I remember all of the times I would come to see you when you came home on leave. You would always give me a huge hug and kiss. Then we would have a cup of tea at the kitchen table and talk. You touched my life in so many ways and always made me smile. You will be greatly missed. To Shirley, Carl and Scott, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Craig is now with God and smiling down at us. We will see him again. Love, Sandy

"Mo" you don't call, you don't write. That is what you would say whenever you saw me then tell one of your jokes we would have a giggle then you would give me one of your big bear hugs that would lift me off my feet and snap, Krackle and pop my back. I love you, you were always a great friend and you will be missed.

A classmate and a friend, Craig will be remembered fondly in the hearts of all who knew him. A devilish twinkle in his eyes and always a smile on his face, Craig was simply a good person. It saddened me so to hear this news. We lost a good one.
To his family please know you are in my thoughts and hope that you find some comfort in knowing he will be missed by many.
Fondly, Carole and Al Cannon

Craig!!! Childhood friends, early high school friends, then went our separate way and into the military with you in the Navy, and I a few years later, joining the USAF. How I wish we could have shared a few hours of good conversation in these retired years!!! I am sorry that will not happen now as it IS something I hoped to do one day when visiting our HomeTown. Rest in Peace my old friend! To Shirley, Carl, and Scott - I am SO sorry to have heard this today, and please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers now!! Mo,
I will miss hearing your jokes and stories. Will always remember your trip up here with Jennifer to visit us and you made "beer butt chicken". I never heard of it before and thought you were joking, something you had made up; honest and true to your word, it was a real tasty chicken. The world will miss you and I look forward to seeing you again one day. Thanks again for looking out for Jennifer.

Mo, you are the best friend anyone could ask for! You always greeted everyone with a "Mornin" and a smile, and to your Sailors, "Thanks for coming in to work today." You were like a dad to me and helped me through so many things!!! I can't believe you are gone. You will ALWAYS be in my heart and NEVER forgotten!!!

Craig and I entered military service about the same time. I elected to keep my feet on the ground so I enlisted in the Army. I saw little of Craig during my, and his career, however he was always in the back of my mind. By chance I recently spotted Craig trimming a tree near his house this past summer. I stopped to say hello. Our plans to meet again will now have to be put on hold. He was a good friend and classmate. He will be surely missed. I send my condolence to his family and friends.

I served in VA-174 with Mo in 1977 under the command of who would later be known to the world as Senator John McCain. There were 17 of us working in the office and Mo owned that place with his unparalleled personality, his charm and his ability to bring laughter to every single person he came in contact with. I haven't seen or heard from him since 1977 but I often think of Mo. I just found this obituary and was saddened to know that he went to heaven so young but left us all with the greatest memories. We all laughed when he and I would sing together with the radio and make fun of John Judge (who we both loved dearly). I'll sign off with our famous office war cry......Hiiii-hooooo!!!
