Mom-
What an honor and blessing it was to have you as my mother. Dad will be taken care of here. You both provided great sisters (who eventually married men to be my brothers!) Memories are many. Just want you to know that I hope to marry a woman as beautiful as you both inside and out. It was a privilege to be with you the last 4 weeks at home; our Father God gave us an awesome gift that so few people get. Extra time to be with you, serve you, and tell you how much you were loved. Now you are home with Jesus and His family of saints! Before I go, I just wanna say that I'm looking forward to seeing the house the Lord has prepared for you(and the meal you prepared for me;>)

Thank you, Elaine, for being you. Thank you for your beautiful daughter Colleen, our son Stephen's wife and Logan's mother. You and Tom welcomed him and us into your family with open arms and a house full of love and unforgettable times -- especially during the holidays. Tony and I never could have asked for more for our son than to have found a life with Colleen and all of her family. We will always treasure the times we have spent with you. Those times aren't gone. They are here to stay in our hearts whenever we gather together or think of you. God bless all of your family. Please pray for us as we will for you, so that we may merrily meet in Heaven. May you rest in His Peace, dear, sweet Elaine. Love, Christine

Mom, First I would like to say i miss you so much. I feel so blessed to have been with you during the final moments of your life when you met Jesus. You were a wonderful mother, and I can only hope to be a fraction of the person you were. You were strong and brave through your fight with cancer, both times. Please know we will never forget you, and will be sure to carry on the family traditions you created. Enjoy your time with the Lord, and reunite with friends and family that have gone before you. I will see you again someday. Please watch over us and help me raise my children the way you raised us. Thank you, mom, and I will love and miss you always. Love, Jen

Dearest Heavenly Father,
I will be forever grateful to You for having allowed me to become one of the final patches in the beautifully quilted tapestry that was Elaine's life. I have been blessed by the opportunity to have loved a very special lady, almost from the moment I first met her, and to rejoice in Your love for her, as well.
Now Father, I ask that Your precious Holy Spirit would allow her family to feel Your arms of love comforting and strengthening them at this difficult time - oh, and if You could allow Elaine to help decorate a room or two of Your mansion, and perhaps tend some of Your heavenly gardens, she'd like that - but then, I know I don't have to remind You about that, Amen! :-)

I love you, and will miss you more than words can say, Lizzy

Mom,
You were the strongest willed woman I have ever known, your wisdom and wise words taught me from age 16-27 and influenced me in a way only a mother could. I thank you for excepting me into your beautiful family and admired the way Raegan lit up your world. Your spirit will forever live within us and your inspiration to never take the simple things for granted will trickle down to your grandaughter, I thank you and love you, you will forever be missed.
Love, Neil

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Tom, you have lost your best friend. As for the children, you have lost one of the most special people to impact your lives. She has shared her beliefs, mannerisms, and most of all her love. She was a role model for all mothers and set the standard very high. She is sadly missed, may she find peace in heaven.

Words can't even express the sadness I feel over your passing. But now I have not only a mother and best friend, but a guardian angel as well. You were so brave and strong, the ultimate hero to us all. you set a wonderful example and your memory will live on through our family. I am so blessed to have been able to care for you and be with you at the end. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! Rest in peace with the Lord now, Mom.
