Our Dear Ruthie,
You have always been a blessing in our lives. We have spent a life time of closeness, joy and love. Your personality was so electrifying it drew all who met you to instant friendship and life long endearment.
Ruth, as your sister for eighty years I have always been guided, taught,
protected and teased by your caring nature which gave me a gifted life. You were always so special in our lives and your memory will remain in our hearts forever.
Your determination, strength, humor and most of all your love is the legacy all your loved ones hold on to each day.
You will never be forgotten.
Love, Joe and Leila

Oh Rufus, your sparkle through all the years I've known and loved you will forever cast its own light on the world. I'm sure you and Lobo were making eyes at each other across the room as usual as you waltzed your way back into each others arms in heaven. Thank you both for all your laughter and showing us all what true love really means, 30 years ago, and today. You will always be a part of my best memories.

I had the pleasure of working with Ruth at the YWCA for many years. She was such a character, role model, and positive person. I often have thought of her giving nature and wonderfull spirit. Ruth was someone who cared about our residents, the organization, and her co-workers. She had such an impact on so many people and will be remembered with great fondness. My sympathy to the family.

Ruth and Walt welcomed our whole family into their home and lives when our Sandi became thier daughter-in-law.
They became a part of our extended family and we all shared many good times.
To all the McCabe that we love so much we offer our deepest sympathies at your loss. Take care, Love, Dick Willis and all the family.

I worked with Ruth many years during our respective tenures at the YWCA, admiring her skills and her spirit. It was a delight for me to finally be able to join the Aquaflex class where Ruth reigned supreme. She was widely admired and deeply loved by all. The class continues, but never a week has gone by that Ruth's name hasn't come up. We are grateful to have known her.

Ruth was the sweetest and most cheerful person I have ever known. I can hear her laugh...and feel her cheerful and kind spirit. May she rest in peace as she is reunited with Walt.
