Dear Janice,
Our thoughts are with you, today. We are but temporary souls on this earth. We are all born, live our lives as best we can and pass on. Ellie is not really "gone" she has just moved on. Keep her in your heart. Remember all the good times, the special times you shared that will bring a smile, even now. When I bake cookies I think of Ellie and Aunt Laura, and I smile......
I know you will miss her but do not be sad. That is not what Ellie would want. Be happy and rejoice in her life!
Love, Linda & Bob

Eleanor was the younger sister of my mother, Nancy. When the three sisters, Annie included, visited together, a person could see how much they loved each other. Those three women had fun; laughing and remarking on current events as well as entertainment personalities. All three of the Alphonso girls were pretty, smart and loved life...especially my Aunt Ellie.

Jesus said to his disciples, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house there are many mansions. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way to the place where I am going." Thomas said to him, "Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?" Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:1-6
Miss Ellie has now gone to that place, Heaven, where she is joined by all those who have gone before us. Where there is no more tears, no more pain, only joy and "SONSHINE" all the day long.
Janice, please know you have many friends and family who are here for you, that love you and care for you deeply. We're only a phone call away. Love you, xoxoxo

I use to work at Julia Riabaudo, as the Activity Director, and I loved Eleanor. I looked forward to work, and seeing Eleanor. With some coaxing she would make it to Bingo, Parties and Music, which we would make a fuss over her coming. She was her own woman, and I loved that she told it like it was. I have not been back to Julia Ribaudo in a couple of years, but Eleanor will always hold a place in my heart. She was very special to me.

Love and friendship to you, Janice, and your family in the loss of your mom. I'll always smile when I think of Ellie and her quick wit. Surely, she has put many smiles on many faces in her 87 years. God bless.

Dear Mommio,
I think you knew how much you were (and are) loved, and I hope and pray that carried you through your fears during your last days here.
Please give my Love to Daddio, Nancy, Aunt Nancy, Grandmom, and all our other relatives and friends that are not here with me anymore.
I fixed your pillow all the times you asked, but you can still haunt me if you want.
Rest in Peace, Mommio. I love you.
Love, Jan Jan - xoxoxoxoxo
