My deepest sympathy to the Schardt family with special thoughts of Elizabeth. Ypur Mom always had a smile and I loved having her for a teacher in Vacation Bible School. Her smile and warm personality will be missed, but she is waiting for us on the other side. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

First of all, I want to express my sympathy to all the members of Gert's family. My hopes and prayers are with all of you.
It was my good fortune to work with Gert for many years when she was a teacher's assistant and I was the school principal. I especially appreciated her hard work and great common sense in working with the children and the staff. She always had a great smile for everyone, and we all really enjoyed working with her. She will be missed.
Thanks for the memories.

How can anyone recount the memories of Gert? There are so many fond thoughts to recall that there simply is not enough time or space to record everything! Gert was always so cheerful and a devoted friend. Her remarkable attitude and stamina will always be remembered by me. Her church, her friends, her community and OES friends will greatly miss her.
Heaven will surly reward her for all her good deeds here on earth, and all her friends who have passed on before will be happy to see her once again.
In friendship and sympathy to the family she loved so dearly,
Linda Minich Queipo

Gertie will always have a special place in the hearts of the Winkler family and I am sure the whole street. She was the salt of the earth, a headstrong women that always did more than her fair share. I don't think there was anything Gert couldn't do! One special lady who was admired and loved by all. Love to you Elizabeth and your entire family. We know Gert is up there with Jesus cleaning house, the yard....anything to keep her busy. xo
