Obituary of Vincent J. Zullo

Vincent J. Zullo, age 71, of Pocono Mt. Lake Forest, Dingmans Ferry, died Friday, October 7, 2011, at VNA Hospice at CMC in Scranton. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, the former Marie A. Colabella.
Born April 9, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late John and Marie (Bove) Zullo. Formerly of Brooklyn, NY, and Tanglwood Lakes, Greentown, he was a hospice nurse prior to his retirement.
Mr. Zullo was a member of St. Vincent de Paul RC Church, Milford, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He also volunteered at the Food Pantry in Tafton.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Marie Elena Zullo of Queens, NY, and Ursula Tracy of Scranton; one son: John Zullo of Tanglwood Lakes, Greentown; three sisters: Antoinette Goldstein of Tucson, AZ, Maria Rudy of Eugene, OR, and Joan Weckel of Brooklyn, NY; one brother: John Zullo of Tucson, AZ; and two grandchildren: Taylor Tracy and Kate Estevez.
There will be a Funeral Mass on Monday, October 10, at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent De Paul Roman Catholic Church, Rt. 739, Milford, celebrated by Rev. Paul M. Mullen, Pastor. Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. Interment of cremains will be held privately at Calvary Cemetery, Queens, NY.
