So sad to hear the news of Mrs. Wintermute's passing. As much as I didn't love practicing the piano at home, I did enjoy my lessons with her. Seeing her regularly was a wonderful part of my childhood in Hawley. May she rest in peace with her angels surrounding her.

We always had a wonderful time when Millie came to the center. She always had a warm smile and always something nice to say. She would walk over to the center and always joined us for exercise 3 times a week. We have always missed you since you left us here but you are in a better place now May God Bless you in everyway.

Mrs. Wintermute helped me fulfill my dream of learning to play the piano about 10 years ago when she lived in Hawley.
I was one of her adult students.
She had a great deal of patience and understanding. It was a pleasure to get to know her. She was warm, wise, and had a great sense of humor.
My condolences to her family and friends. I know she will be missed.

I was yet another one of Mrs. Wintermute's students, both for piano, and briefly for Sunday school at the Hawley Methodist Church. What a sweet lady. She was always nice, even when she finally advised my mother that piano lessons were probably not for me. :)
