Obituary of Clement S Wishneski

Clement S Wishneski, age 80, of Tafton and formerly of Denville, NJ, died Monday, March 26, 2012 at home after an extended illness. Mr. Wishneski was born November 23, 1931 in W. Pittston, PA and was the son of the late Victor and Veronica (Petralonis) Wishneski. He was also predeceased by a sister, Marian and a brother, Thomas. He was a graduate of Pittston High School class of 1949. He joined the Air Force and served four years during the Korean Conflict. Upon his discharge he move to Denville, NJ and was employed by How Met Austenal for 35 years retiring in 1989 and relocating to the Lake Wallenpaupack Area of Tafton, PA. Clem was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Dover, NJ and a stanch Penn State fan, enjoyed crossword puzzles, baseball, but most of all fishing the lake for perch and could be found fishing everyday from April to October. The family would like to thank the staff of Wayne Memorial Hospital, 4th floor south and Dr. William J. Speicher for their kindness. A special thank you to the hospice nurses for their help caring for Clem in his final illness. He is survived by his wife of 56 years: Mary(Faltz) Wishneski, one daughter & son-in-law: Colette & Tony Donato of Waynesboro, PA and one son & daughter-in-law: Matthew & Teresa Wishenski of Hawley, PA, two beloved granddaughters: Danielle & Kristina Donato; two brothers: Victor & Sabrina Wishneski of Greentown, PA, Bernard & Bernice Wishneski of Exeter, PA. Calling hours will be Wednesday, March 28th from 1 to 3 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA, followed by a memorial service at 3 PM with Rev. William G. Rushik Pastor officiating. A Mass at B.V.M. Queen of Peace RC Church will be held at a later date. Cremation was at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
