I met Marty at Honesdale Lincoln Mercury where we serviced his Lincoln Blackwood. We hit it off immediately, His love off cars, planes and ships gave us lots to talk about. After the dealership closed we stayed in touch through emails. I'll miss him terribly. What a great guy.

We both feel so blessed and honored to have met and been a part of Marty's life. Although we have only known him a couple years he brought so much knowledge, and kindness to our lives. As Marty would say to us "thanks for breaking bread with us". May you walk with the LORD in peace my friend.

Marty was a dear old friend. We went to OLA (Our Lady of Angels) Brooklyn together for eight years. Then we went to St. Peter's High Staten Island together for four years. We played together riding bikes, playing stickball and tinkering with trains, old cars and his large collection of 45 RPM records.
We lost touch over the years... but my thoughts would fondly wander back to the good old days with Kitty his mother, Arthur his father NYPD and avid train, car and all around master of all trades and Marty...and the good times we had together.
We finally rekindled our friendship and kept in touch with daily emails. I was saddened when I received the phone call about Marty's sudden passing. May he rest in peace.
