John was the big brother who I always dreamed of having... But finding our brother John was the most joyful miracle and meaningful gift that his biological Collins family/siblings ever experienced.
His arrival into our lives brought about a healing understanding about his life growing up with his brothers in the orphanages and the wonderful relationships that he had throughout his life with Jacqueline, Sandy and his lovely grandchildren.
John delivered cigar loaded smiles, playfulness, kindness and mechanical engineering helpfulness to anyone in need whenever he could...And he could sing sing sing.
Goodbye big brother give our mother a hug for us.

John was good friend. I knew John from the different ophanages we attended. I have many fond memories with him. While at St. Francis ,I had many half ball games with him. Even after leaving St. Francis I kept in touch with John,We had many good times playing cards, going on Dates together. John was frequent guest at my apartments. John will be sadly missed,He was part of my growing up and most of all being a good friend. It will be soft spot in my heart for him. Whenever the Poconos are mentioned I will think fondly of John. God bless him,he was kind and loving man. Good by John. Richard Kolb.

John was our friend and Richard's cousin. He was a kind and helped Richard when he had no job. We reminisced about St. Francis, St. John's and St. Vincent's. John is now with Jackie. He was a good friend and he was loved by all the "boys". Good-bye our friend.

Uncle John will be sadly missed by all his family. We all remember his kind and helpful nature, how he loved Aunt Jac and cared for all of our family. He was always there to help my Mom (Thelma), my Grandmom or anyone else in the family that needed anything. I always enjoyed hearing stories from my husband who worked with John for many years. In the middle of a fence job he wouldn't hesitate to stop to help an animal in need or join in on a baseball or tennis game with some of his buddies. My kids and grandkids remember Johns humor, his "cigar magic tricks" and that he was always ready for a game of checkers or cards. I think we all have something in our homes that John helped us build, repair or install. He was so generous with his time and skills. I know John is resting peacefully with all those who loved him
We will miss him, with love...Debbie, Bucky, Dina, Mark, Kiersten and Michael

I was deeply saddened to learn today of the passing of “Uncle John”. He was and always will be loved by the Mason family. Uncle John was a dear friend of my fathers and later married to my Aunt Jac. I fondly remember his loving, caring and devotion, not only to Aunt Jac, but also to my grandmother, whom he so dearly referred to as “Mother”. He would always assist anyone in need, whether it was to fix something, build something or as I vividly remember; carry my gran into the hospital, pushing people away to get her the care she needed. Uncle John still has many family and friends in Bucks county who will miss his good nature and genuine concern for others, which included animals. I hope you, Aunt Jac, gran, dad, uncle jerry and aunt Thelma had a beautiful homecoming. I know you are probably playing ball with my dad, uncle jerry, and a few of the other Sampson Fence over the hill gang, trip and run or pinochle with Aunt Jac and aunt Thelma. Hit a grand slam, and no cheating in whatever card games you are enjoying. Rest In Peace uncle John and we will all miss you, Love, Dawn, Patrick and Kristen
