That big smile! That's what I think of when I think of
Dot. Whenever I ran into her in the store or at church, she would have that big smile and give me a big hug. What an example of love and faith she was! She was a true light in this world, He will raise her up on eagle's wings!

I will always remember Aunt Dot’s laugh ! She was so much fun to be around and such a positive person . She was always concerned about everyone too- she genuinely cared. What great attributes! Love to the whole family .

My mother was always unintentionally hilarious. I remember one time my Mother, Father, my sisters Sue, & Jeanine were determined to clear out the shed we had in the back part of our property, at one point my father opened a box on the loft of the shed and a bunch of flying squirrels all flew out of that box. If anyone knew my mother, you all know she wasn’t exactly a nature/critter type person. Anyway, as the flying squirrels were scattering out. My Mother threw up her hands & was somewhat “running” in circles & kind of hooting. From that day on it was embedded in my memory as “The Flying Squirrel Dance” there are so many wonderful memories like this. That makes saying goodbye so difficult. But my mother always had a knack to bring joy in any given situation. I will always love & miss you Mama.

John and family, I am so sorry to hear of Dotties passing. I have known Dott for many years and she has always been a very pleasant and caring woman. You could walk to the ends of the earth and not find a nicer person. Rest in peace Dott because I know you are in Heaven. You are in my thoughts and prayers, may God bless you all.

I just always remember her smiling. She never raised her voice, she always new what was going on with my kids, even if she didn’t see them very often.
