Inurnment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY. "My brother Artie was probably the most "giving" of anyone I knew; he would literally give you the shirt off his back if he felt you needed it. He was constantly driving numerous people he knew within the Paupackan Community and beyond! You didn't even have to ask, he usually volunteered immediately. Many of the elder people in his community who needed work done but couldn't do it themselves would have Artie do the work and he asked for very little in payment or nothing many times. One elder lady he helped by taking her garbage down to the end of her driveway on collection days. We hope to carry on what he would have wished by being able to distribute all that he had, to thrift places, food banks or any charity that could use the many items he had "collected" over the last 25 years! I also want to say Thank You to all the people I met when going up after his passing that wanted to just help out of the kindness of their hearts; to mention just a few: Jan & Rolland Grote (helped Jan with trap/neuter/release many of the feral cats in the area), Tom Cresta (next door neighbor), Jeanette & Mike, Steve Hanover (good friend just down the block), Chris (USMC - retired) & Marylou and many others that were there just offering their help because they knew Artie and how giving a person he was! Thank You to all of you, Glenn Sturm"
