Well I can start with every time I see those "little colored dancing bears" I always think of you :) But my favorite memory is of the time some of my friends and me went up to Bethelwoods to see Bob Weir and his band. When we got near to the stage I saw two people having the time of their lives, really into the music. And as I got closer I realized it was you and Teri! You were so into each other I'm not sure you even saw the "Wizard man" that was traveling around the people and I'm pretty sure you don't remember me either. Anyway that's my favorite memory of you enjoying all of your favorite things that day.,Teri, the music of the grateful dead, beautiful weather , the perfect trifecta in Daves book.
You will be missed Dave :(
It's the same story the crow told me
It's the only one he knows
Like the morning sun you come
Like the wind you go
Ain't no time to hate
Barely time to wait
Oh, what I want to know
Where does the time go?
Come hear Uncle John's band
By the riverside
Got some things to talk about
Here beside the rising tide
Come hear Uncle John's band
Playing to the tide
Come along, or go alone
He's come to take his children home
Peace Dave

“HAY!!” And silverware fights. To sound cliche in a time like this, Dave has been a part of my life since some of my earliest memories. And as I grew up Dave had a large impact on my life. Dave was 2nd in line, behind my grandfather, as the man who shaped me. From Holidays and Family events, to my first time at Disney (with my mom, brother and Kimmy). To being present at my games, yelling “Hay” out the window while driving past fields and having fork fights while out to eat (“No, Fork You) and being someone who I could talk to at any time in my life. All I can think of is his laugh and his smile! There’s so much to say. Look down on us Dave. Love you Daddy-O!!

David was just one of those people that wherever you went if you saw that David was there - You Smiled‼️
Dave made everyone happy - his smile, his laugh , his loud voice and his joking style just put you in a better mood!!
I had not seen David in the past 20 years or more - had no idea about his illness or his life. His death, though had brought back such fond memories a great guy gone way to soon.
My prayers to his Family and all his Friend whom are going to take his passing so very hard.
God Bless You old Friend.

I met Dave at WAHS. We didn't travel in the same circles, but he and I had some classes together, and were in band together, and we all knew that we could count on him to say or do something crazy, and always keep us laughing! Although he and I lost touch over the years, I'm glad that he and those in his life, lived with laughter. Godspeed Dave.

You know how I feel Teri...Dave and I were friends since Elementary School and at each stage of life, we challenged the norm! When I moved back to Hawley 3 years ago, Dave was one of the first friends who came down to the house I got to buy, which was the house I grew up in! Over the past years we would get together at his place and have the best of time just reminiscing about all our days and times together, and the crazy things we did! Dave was a great music friend also, liking similar music, and there are a couple groups he turned me onto!! We were the best frisbee flyers around and would spend hundreds, if not thousands of hours flying the frisbee all around Hawley and Honesdale, and make-believe at the Festival of Life at Penn State! Dave and I choreographed flying the frisbee to an Emerson, Lake, and Palmer song, and we did good!! When he was part of the school auditorium crew, we both skipped a study hall, and he took me above the auditorium, and we smoked a joint!! When a close friend of ours was able to leave the school day early, Dave and I and another friend again skipped study hall several times to take Tom home, and then three of us returned to school stoned for our last period of the day!! Dave and I did SO MANY fun (and yes, some illegal) things together, went to so many concerts together!! The Patty Hearst house adventure was incredibly fun and cool!! Stealing the paddle boats and riding on the lake was fun!! We went to get our Senior Class photos together with another friend; glad the photos then were black and white, as surely our red eyes would have stood out!! All the parties we went to, in so many places, but especially in my basement and Tom’s basement!! He was at all three Pocono Blast Reunions that I had organized, and the last one, in 2019, after everyone else had left, it was just Dave and me, and the words spoken in that last hour before I would be going back to NC, were so special!! We travelled so many miles on the roads in the area!! I am SO blessed to have been able to move back here in 2020 and spend time with Dave anytime!! I will end here with an incredibly special song that I now am dedicating to Dave. Dave...still crying after 4 days since you moved on – yes...you were/are that special to me!! I know I have the memories...but you are the only one who could appreciate and laugh hysterically at them...I lost that... I love you Dave – THANKS SO MUCH for your time here!!
There are places I'll remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends, I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life, I've loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life, I love you more
I love you my brother....

To Tera & Family,
Terri I'm so sorry to hear about Dave, our Deepest Sympathy and Prayer's to you and family. Dave and I grew up together just a couple of house's from each other on Woodland Ave. ( Snuff town ) is what it was called back then. We went to school together and in the early years actually walked to the Old Hawley High School while later years graduating from WAHS, Class of " 74 ". As kids we were either on our motorcycles or at the Ramps and Devils Well swimming. His dad use to work for my father at what is now known as Amerigas so we use to have a lot of get togethers all the time. Once we got older then came the cars, music and several late nights out, but we survived and became a little wiser. He is now looking down at his family which he adorned and will always be protecting them. Dave my friend, our Snuff town group will always remember you and one day we will all be together again.

Dave was truly like a second father to me for most of my adolescence and teen years. He and my dad were inseparable. Thank you for always making me feel loved, and seen, and understood. My heart is broken. I'll love you always Davey.
"Oh, well, a touch of grey
Kind of suits you anyway
That was all I had to say, and
It's alright
I will get by
I will get by
I will get by
I will survive
We will get by
We will get by
We will get by
We will survive"
