'What a long strange trip it's been.'

David John Miller, age 66, of Lakeville passed away Sunday August 13, 2023 at home. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Tera-Lisa (Livanavage) Miller.

Born September 16, 1956, in Honesdale, PA, Dave was the son of the late John and Charlotte (Case) Miller. A Class of 1974 graduate of Wallenpaupack Area High School, he owned and operated his own business, David Miller Carpentry. Dave was a long-term Friend of Bill W. A deadhead through and through, with a personality that could fill any room, he loved spending time on his property, riding his motorcycle and being with friends and family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter: Kim Miller-Khouli and her husband Tony of Mechanicsburg, PA; two grandchildren: Leila and Elias; his father-in-laws: Steve Livanavage of Paupack and Boyd Tyler of Lakeville; one niece: Victoria Johnston; a nephew: Kyle Schoebel; and a great nephew: Damian Schoebel, and so so many close friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Roxanne Johnston; his brother, Rich 'Mooner' Miller; and his brother-in-law, Kurt Johnston.

Calling hours will be Saturday, August 19, from 3 to 5 PM at Teeters' Funeral Chapel, Inc., 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The Memorial Service will follow at 5:00 PM.
