Obituary of Denise Marie Brindle

Please share a memory of Denise to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Denise Marie Brindle, age 58, of Lakeville, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 after a protracted battle with cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband, Paul James Brindle, daughter, Alicia Marie Brindle, son, Christopher James Brindle & his fiancée, Nicole Holzapfel, & dog, Milo,as well as her mother Barbara Marfe Pepe, sister Barbara (Robert) O’Hara and children MaryGrace, Joseph, & James, brother Michael (Sarah) Pepe and children Spencer, Mitchell & Harris, and brother Thomas (Cathleen) Pepe and children Ashley, Eric & Anthony. Denise was born on March 12th, 1966 to Barbara Pepe & Michael Pepe (deceased). She married Paul on December 5th, 1992 and moved to PA shortly after where they had their first born, Alicia, in 1996 followed by Christopher in 1998. Professionally, Denise received her Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Development at Dowling College in Oakdale, NY. She went on to work as a teaching assistant at Wallenpaupack North Intermediate School for over a decade. Denise continually showed up to work with a smile on her face & abundant joy in her heart, despite her silent suffering with disease. She loved teaching, almost as much as she loved being a mom. Denise was also an active member of her community, leading Girl Scout Troops, volunteering her time at her children’s sporting events, assisting in after school programming & the PTA, serving as Vice President of the auxiliary group at the Lakeville Volunteer Fire Department & more. Denise was born with a caring soul that she shared with the world. She was an incredibly selfless woman, always concerned about the wellbeing of others before her own. She was strong, thoughtful, loving, a bit of a Disney fanatic, but so uniquely herself. Denise made it her mission to spread love, joy & kindness among her students, family, & friends, always leading with a bubbly personality, warm heart & purest intentions. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society to help put an end to this awful disease. Her children also request you share any happy memories of their mother by sending thoughtful messages to magicalmemories9227@gmail.com Calling hours will be Monday, March 25, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA.
