My dearest Sister and family,
Sending you our deepest condolences, love and prayers.
Joe was such a strong, humble and kind man. He will always hold a special place in my heart . I admired his strength throughout the past few years, he handled his illness with such pride and dignity!. I will miss talking to him and will savor his kindness throughout the lifetime of years that he was my brother in law.
I pray for you and every member of your family sis.
May you all find strength and peace during this difficult time.
May Joe rest peacefully in Heaven, as he has become an Angel too.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Joe will be so missed. I loved all of the stories that he would tell us on our drives to the Auction to pick up vehicles he made the time fly and made us laugh harder than we have ever laughed. Fly high with the Eagles Joe!! RIP

Joe, I remember you always being so kind, loving, caring & supportive through the years. You have been in our family as long as I can remember. You were like a big brother. What can I say about Joe Pizzo. He was the type of guy who could calm things down when you thought it was impossible. I worked with Joe in the Fare Evasion Unit of the Transit Police Department just prior to his retirement. I was happy for him but a little sad because he was one of the best cops I had the pleasure of knowing. He had a great sense of humor and a good guy to work with. The Captain of District #1 knew what he was doing when he made him a Captain's man. I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. If there is a police department in heaven, he will make a great addition to it. Goodbye old friend. Rest in peace.

May my cousin Joe rest in peace. It isn't unusual he passed away on Good Friday. He was well loved. My memories of Joe go back to when I was 6 years old. I had to stay with my aunt and uncle for awhile. Joe was 5.5 years older than me and it was his job to take care of me so I tagged along with him. I remember us hiding under the porch so my aunt wouldn't see him smoking. He was a caring and giving person. Love always cousin Vito J Delgorio Sr.
