Obituary of Neil John Jordan

Neil John Jordan, age 68, of Woodledge Village, Hawley died Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Allied Hospice in Scranton. Neil was born July 1, 1956, in Montgomery, AL and was the son of the late John and Connie (Guido) Jordan. He served in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and Field Medic for the Marines. He was a Correction Officer at SCI Waymart and retired in 2010. He later became a driver for Constantino Catering for 14 years up until his illness. Neil’s passion was snow boarding and he was an instructor at Elk Mountain. He was also an active volunteer for Adaptive Sports Foundation and Wounded Warriors. Neil is survived by his wife: Phyllis (Nejedly) Jordan; two daughters: Connie Lambeth of Monona, WI and Jennifer Didyoung of Walla Walla, WA; five granddaughters: Camille, Sylvia, Frances, Margaret, and Adelaide. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St., Hawley, PA 18428. Visitation will be immediately prior from 9 to 11 AM at the funeral home. Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
