Victor A. Decker III, passed on December 28, 2024, at the age of 89. His family is grateful for his peaceful passing.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Kathryn J. Decker of Honesdale; his daughter, Melissa Decker of Minturn, CO; and his three grandchildren: Silas (18), Haven (14) and Jasper (13). He delighted in his weekly phone calls with his grandchildren.

Vic practiced law in the area for 52 years. He was known not only for his professionalism, but also for the kindness and compassion with which he treated his clients. Since his retirement, Vic and Kathy loved spending time at Fairview Lake, Paupack, which Vic always spoke of as being their own "Golden Pond."

Vic was born in Hawley, obtained his B.A. from Princeton University, and his J.D. from Yale Law School.

Vic was an avid reader and museum-quality model shipbuilder.

Private memorial services will be held at the discretion of the family.
