Becky, Walter and Mary, My prayers go out to you and your families today. Your mom was the sweetest woman I ever met. She was a lady through and through. One thing I can't understand is how she could bake such wonderful cakes and not eat any. Willpower! I will truly miss her.

"I do not promise to make you happy in this world, but in the next"..St. Bernadette of Lourdes..born Feb 11th as you were my sweet Aunt Bernadette. With you I washed dishes with only a gallon of water, I stoked a wood fire to cook breakfast & lunch,I admired Uncle Walters' paintings of you...priceless! I road in pick-up trucks at break speed ,under covered bridges just to get to town for milk & bread. I used an outhouse..yikes..I read the bible in the INDOOR BATHROOM, which i still do today.Becky & I played "Heart N Soul" a gazillion times on the piano& no one complained.I laughed as my brothers & cousins tried to get a basketball through a toilet bowl ring hung on a tree...I stood my ground as a 10 yr. old when you, my Mom Alice & Aunt Margaret tried to prevent me from seeing my Poppa because he had surgery on his left ear. Finally,I was allowed to see him.I saw HIM,not his ear, more importantly, we saw each other.I loved that you wanted to be"properly introduced" as you said, to Michael, who was in uniform& just discharged from the Marine Corps @ Nana's birthday party@ Aunt Marges' &Uncle Freds' home...meanwhile Nana was in the corner "birthday chair" with a pair of silver underwear on her head...! Micheal loved us all instantly& unconditionally.& he is so glad you remained a Republican. On that note, rest in peace with God& kiss my Mom,as she loved you so...Love Beverly, Michael& Family

You finished the race and so now rest from your labor surrounded by His love and peace.
Also know that you can be so proud of your children and their families. A special blessing to Mary and Terry, your dedicated Angel caregivers.

I have very fond memories of spending time with the whole Frisbie family when my family visited their house on the lake back in the '60's and 70's. And those corn busts that they used to throw! I remember how welcoming Bernie was whether she was hosting 4 or 40 people at her house. I will always remember her as an energetic, happy, giving and warm person.
