Kurt,
The only man I know that can find a gourmet Italian food and cheese shop, in the middle of no where.. and later enjoy his treats in his tree stand in the back woods of Wisconson, waiting for "herns" to walk by. Ps. I knew it was you who took my phone... Thank you, you taught me how to enjoy myself. I'll miss you Dad #2.

Whether it was hunting, yard work, watching football, or simply having a good time, you were always so passionate about everything that you did. You never gave up and anything you did was done impeccably. You have been such an inspiration in my life. I will always remember your wise talks and helpful advice. You truly cared about me and always wanted to guide me in the right direction. I can never thank you enough. You have led me to where I am today. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my Nanny. You were her everything and made her so happy. Words cannot describe how much you will be missed and how much you are loved. I will miss you dearly everyday and I know you will be looking down on all of us. Love you. May you rest peacefully.

Daddy,
I think of you each morning as spring draws near, you would be up and outside raking. I hope you have a beautiful yard and acres woods wherever you are. I'm bored in the kitchen already, no special meals on the menu, hopefully Oma has taken over my position as head chef for you! You are free from the misery of illness now, I see you... my handsome dad, smiling down on all of us with love. I wish you peace and love always.

As we we climb the pathway of life, each day is a step. God gives us just enough light for the step we are on.
We will remember fondly his warm hospitality and positive attitude.
Our arms are around your shoulders, our heads are bowed with yours.

I will miss the Easter egg hunt you had at you house. Kurt would hide plastic eggs all over the property and inside the egg would have a piece of paper with a money amount on it. They you would go to Kurt with the paper and he would dish out the money. The smile on his face was great.

Rest in peace Kurt. You and Judy were the greatest customers at Peggy Sue's. I am grateful to have met you through there and thankful for the friendship that has come from it. You always put a smile on my face every time I saw you and your beautiful love Jude. I hope you are enjoying your soft vanilla with strawberries in Heaven.

Kurt, I'll miss our morning coffee phone calls, and also being heckled during a Giant football game, but most of all I will miss you. Now go rest in your tree stand and get the biggest one you have ever seen. Barb.

I got to know Kurt by bowling with him on Monday night at Wallenpaupack lanes. I remember him as a fun loving guy. He always used to call me Burger King. I don't know how I got that nickname but it stuck. He was a great guy and will be sadly missed

Years ago I took comfort in knowing that you and Judy were able to move forward from your tradgedies and develop a bonding relationship, that relationship touched my childrens lives for 18 years, a relationship they might not have had otherwise, and for these things I am grateful. Now I take comfort in knowing that you no longer are suffering, with illness, tormented by disappointments and at peace with all the answers. May your afterlife have a big green field, maintenance free mower, an abundant orchard for you and your “friends”. I will think of you often when I am opening those peaches, picking apples for pie and making that homemade red cabbage. May your rest be peaceful forever!

Three weeks since you left us dad. I miss seeing you and talking to you, I just miss you..I had my first dream about you last night. In my dream Jen, Di and I were taking you out of the hospital in a wheelchair. The wheels broke off and I went to get a new chair, when I came back we you were outside and it was beautiful. You were standing with your arms around us , you were healthy and tan, we were all in some place tropical sunny with palm trees and flowers. You looked at me, grabbed my shoulders and said "it's o.k. now, I,m o.k. and you smiled. I know you are in a better place, you came and told me so :) .
