Rosalie, Joe & Mary: Your Dad (and, of course your Mom also)were just outstanding people. As I said in my card to you, some of my fondest memories as a kid included summer picnics with the Gilpins and the Bennetts. I often think of both of your parents, and while I'm sad that they are gone, I am thankful for all of the wonderful memories that I have of these two very special people. I wish you and your families all the best.

Mr. Edward Gilpin was a wonderful friend to my parents. He drove my late father to and from the Knights of Columbus meetings and visited him in the Wilkes Barre General Hospital. My folks thought the world of your Dad. Please accept my sincere condolences.
